The head and arms unit are finished! Yay. And my tamiya spray had arrived so i painted the gold parts for katans too.

WIP MG MBF-P02Kai Gundam Astray Red Frame Kai -Part 2-

Finished the body unit. It was really fun build, especially the inner frame, magnificent. The concept of this MS itself is awesome, exposing a lots of inner frame. The armors are just “decoration” that add the aesthetic value of this Gundam if i should say. The engineering of this kit is good too, Bandai did a job well done to hide the nub marks, and i didn’t even need to sanding the nubs to get the result that i desired. Kudos Bandai, and me hahaha.

The cockpit with Lowe sitting there, i didn’t paint the figure, because i can’t, lol. It requires a precise and detailed work to paint the figure.

WIP MG MBF-P02Kai Gundam Astray Red Frame Kai -Part 1-

The first time i saw this kit, was back then when i came over to my friend’s house. And i saw ARF standing in his shelve looking mighty, it looks like a samurai and just wow, it is so unorthodox ( the hell, a gundam wields katana ? o_0 ). Soo different from all the gundam that i’ve ever seen. And last week i had a chance, money to pick this gunpla, so here we go.

The boxart. Gundam astray red frame kai is piloted by Lowe Guele, a natural from Junk Guild member, in the MS Gundam Seed Astray series.

Nisemonogatari Review

Title: Nisemonogatari
Genre: Drama/Comedy
Number of episodes: 11 episodes

Plot Summary: In Bakemonogatari, the story centers on Koyomi Araragi, a third-year high school student who has recently survived a vampire attack, and finds himself mixed up with all kinds of apparitions: gods, ghosts, myths, and spirits. However, in Nisemonogatari, we pick up right where we left off and follow Koyomi as the psychological twists delve deeper and deeper…

Bakemonogatari is one of my favorite anime in 2009 (and arguably one of the best that year), so everything when crazy in my mind when they announced a sequel. Naturally, with Nisemonogatari I expect at least same quality, if not better, from this Shinbo Akiyuki’s latest adaptation anime. But, instead a great follow-up, we got a wasted potential.
