So we decide to use rating system on our review for anime and video games. As you can see, we use the famous 1-10 rating. The thing is, we believe that we should explain what exactly this number present. You know, to avoid confusion because our interpretation maybe different with yours. This rating scale will be used from now on.
An the score goes like this …
10 – Flawless
This is the higher score we give. This score means that the show/game is excellent. The greatness out shadowed the flaws. Only given to the one that really inspiring.
9 – Awesome
This is for the awesome. This score means that the show/game have very high quality and considered top-tier. With very little flaws, that doesn’t really stand out.
8 – Great
This score means that the show/game generally have high quality. But it also has flaws that prevent it among the top-tier.
7 – Good
This score means the show/game have “okay” quality. Considered solid with nothing really stand out or special.
6 – Above Average
This score means the show/game have “okay” quality. But also have flaws that damage the experience. Yet, it still deserves a chance because its positive qualities barely make up for the negative one.
5 – Mediocre
This score means that the show/game is not good but also not bad. The negative qualities equal the positive. An average one but not something you stay away for.
4 – Poor
This score means that the show/game have just enough flops so that we cannot recommend it to you. You may consider staying away from this one. But it still has little positive qualities if you can find it.
3 – Bad
This score means that the show/game is … bad. Has a lot of drawback that really ruining the experience. You should consider staying away from this.
2 – Horrible
This score means that the show/game has a fantastic drawback that really ruining the experience. You should REALLY consider staying away from this.
1 – Dreadful
This score means that show/game is an abomination. Stay away at all cost.
How about score like 8,5 or 9,5 ?
If you see score like that it means that it has quality that we feel is better than any others in the same rating scale, but not enough to place it on higher rating scale. That means score 8,5 is still score 8 (Great) but with some plus points.
